I own a 2017 GSF now but I just rented a 2018 MX-5 Miata

OK. Today I drove my wife's car M35X....

Wow! It's still A LOT OF FUN!!! Of course her M35X has a lot more body roll than GSF and M4 but Miata also has some body roll, too...

I think I really underrate these Japanese cars due to those incorrect messages from medias... They may not be the best but they are still VERY CAPABLE... (at least 95% of the best similar level car)

PS: You may think why 10 year old car can still be so fun??? I think that's because it's UNBELIEVABLE reliability!!! In addition, of course newer cars are better but they are NOT that much better (just a little bit)...

Before I buy my new used GT-R (2017 later) I will definitely rent a similar GT-R to make sure if I really like it...

Hoping the GT-R will not be like my GSF... (It took so long for me to fully understand my GSF including renting M4 and Miata.) After almost 2 years I finally realize how good my GSF is!!!

PS: As I said before those expensive performance cars are NOT as invincible as those described in the videos... They are just somewhat better... Of course if you have money, you definitely can buy one and try something among the best in the world!!!

Of course GSF will perform much better on race tracks but it's not so important for me...

What I would more like to know is how much better it performs on streets... (because I don't drive my GSF on race tracks 99.99999..... of the time)

Yesterday I pushed my GSF a little harder than usual. Wow! its structure was so rigid and solid. I never found that handling feel on any other cars I had driven including M4 and my previous very stiff modified G35S...

I think its suspension may not be the best but its structure is definitely EXTREMELY rigid. I wonder whether Porsche , GT-R or NSX could provide that kind of solid feel... (I guess NSX and more expensive Porsche like 911 and Panamara may have but not sure about GT-R because GT-R is already 10 year old now... I have to try it to find out...)

I also think LC500 should a little bit more rigid than my GSF(because Lexus say LC is the most rigid car they have ever produced including LFA) but I guess GSF suspension should a little bit better thanks to Sachs dampers...

Of course if I put Ohlins on my GSF, its suspension would be among the best also...

This NSX looks so good.(the last portion of the video) The number is NOT everything... The more important is how it feels especially NOT on the tracks... (I will definitely NOT drive that fast on public roads...)

If my GSF with Ohlins could provide the similar feel as GT-R or NSX, then I I think I do NOT need to buy those faster cars because I only drive cars on public roads, not on tracks...

Plus, GSF have much better NA V8 sound...

I think I REALLY need to rent a 2017 or later GT-R to find out...

I read some reviews from forums about 911 vs GT-R... Many said GT-R was just a fast Nissan but some said GT-R felt like 911 GT3 (I think this could be right...)

I also did some cross references about 911 vs M4 but most of people said 911 was better but didn't said A LOT better (but my GSF is A LOT better than M4 in term of structure rigid...)

So I guess low-mid level Porsche should not be enough for me except 911 GT3 or something better... (I really need to try it but I also don't want to waste my money like that M4....)

2013 GT-R 0-96 without launch control could be 4.1 and my GSF was 4.92. So it's about 15% faster. I think the improvement is just like my wife's M35X vs GSF(4.9 vs 5.8)... It's faster but not super fast!!!

Do I really need to buy GT-R? (because my GSF is already very fast... Even my old G and M are also fast!!! GT-R is only a little bit faster(only 15-18%) than my current GSF...)

PS: I think how fast with launch control and T/C off is NOT important for me because I always drive my car with T/C on....
