I own a 2017 GSF now but I just rented a 2018 M4 (Competition)

I think these performance cars including some German cars like M4(F82) should run about 5 seconds from 0-100km/h IN REALITY (without launch control and T/C is on)

Just like GT-R...
Launch control : 2.x (ideal condition)
Without launch control + T/C is ON : 4.0 (real life)

M4...
Launch control : 3.x (ideal condition)
Without launch control + T/C is ON : 5.0 (real life)

I think that's why my wife kept saying her 2010 M35X was also similarly fast after driving that rental M4 !!! (5.01 vs 5.83)

To really tell the difference on both cars my wife has to FLOOR both cars for 10 seconds on highways!!! (9.x vs 16.x)

Of course, she will NOT do it as it's ILLEAGAL...

BMW 550i vs Mercedes-Benz E550 vs Audi S6 vs Lexus GS450h

Lexus is THE BEST(also the fastest)!!!

Although the rear factory PSS tires look OK, I did change the front factory PSS tires to get rid of the horrible understeering and strange inner tire wear 3 month ago!!!

The below is the new tires Bridgestone S-04 ( Performance: S007A > S-04 > RE-003 or RE-004)

I also increased the sizes of the front tires from 255 to 265. (I will also increase the sizes of the rear tires from 275 to 285 when the rear tires need to be replaced)

I think the rear PSS tires should be still good as I don't drive my GSF very fast...

This morning I just did another 0.9G at a lower speed corner...(without any other cars or people around) The rear PSS tires are almost 5 year old but they didn't skid at all when I was doing 0.9G. So, I think these F cars should be able to do 1.0G easily from factory.

Of course, if I increase the size from 255/275 to 265/285, my GSF should be able to do 1.1G or even higher...

OMG!!! This morning a new Corolla tried to pass me on highway 17 (DOWNHILL, of course)...

My speed was already 105km/h(the speed limit is 80km/h) and 0.6G on bends. I don't want to get a ticket... (If I'm not fast enough, you go first...)

PS: In USA if I'm 48km/h over the speed limit, I may be put in jail!!!

Not sure why recent TNGA Toyotas become so aggressive...

I already saw very aggressive TNGA Camry and Corolla... I encountered BMWs, Minis, Porsche, etc. They all were not that aggressive...

Maybe those drivers think my Toyota will NEVER break down. So, let's keep aggressive ALL THE TIME!!!

Or, maybe they just want to prove my "TNGA" Toyota is not ordinary Toyota anymore...

This morning I encountered a Land Rover on highway 17...

That Land Rover was good... (Of course, not as good as my GSF)

However, I also found that Land Rover could be bouncy like hell(underdamped) when the road condition was not good!!!

Both M4 competition and my GSF(Ohlins DFV 16/12K) could also be a little bouncy when the road condition was not good!!! (But, the spring rates from Ohlins should be TWO TIMES higher!!!)

So, some cheap cars could provide better handling(higher spring rate). However, when the road condition is bad, the ride could be very bouncy(underdamped) and unstable!!!

I also find that my wife's M35X has similar situation...

That generation M has very good handling thanks to stiffer springs... (However, that's only good when the road is SMOOTH!!!) When the road condition is rough, the ride could become a little bouncy(underdamped)!!!

This Nissan is more fun than German cars

That's why I always try to put Koni Sport dampers on that M35X... (Unfortunately, Koni NEVER makes those dampers for that Nissan... )

The below can show you how underdamped M35 is when it crosses a railroad...
