我是覺得Z9的EVF真的走了不同的一條路,性能如何就等實機上市再看吧、現在下定論都早了點。

看dpreview的說明是Z9 EVF 沒有這個先天所限, 不會在AFC降低解析度或更新率, 也不會有sensor stabilizer reset 的現象. 所以看spec和實際使用是不一樣的

But when I used the Sony a1 after the Nikon Z9 for actual shooting, I was underwhelmed.

That's because the Sony drops in resolution while you're focusing, regardless of what your display quality settings are. And when you've stopped focusing, the resolution rises again and the sensor stabilizer seems to hiccup and do a bit of a reset.

With the Z9, what you see when you first look through it is what you get. No resolution changes, no hiccups, no jolting. Just a smooth experience that allows for better focus (pun intended). Same resolution, same frame-rate, all the time.

這有點像同樣一支24-85zoom鏡頭要標f2.8-4還是恆定f4,會行銷的一定選前者[笑]

你誤解了, 我說 EVF 先天所限重點不在 AFC, 而是pan 鏡擺動 / 物體移動的影響

Z9 EVF 上限是 60 fps, 當pan 鏡相機 / 物體移動速度高於 60 fps, EVF 顯示畫質就會下降. 而 OVF 沒有這限制, 上限是肉眼的能感受到高速移動的能力.

如果 Z9 有能力突破這限制, 那只用在EVF 太浪費. 用在影像拍攝上相等於用 1/60 秒 快門就可拍到 1/2000 秒才能凝定的高速飛鳥. 絕對是黑科技

OK I see, 這一點我也覺得是小遺憾, 如果能夠上到120fps會是更流暢的
不過我猜Nikon可能對於EVF的重要性排序
1.consistency (no resolution or refresh rate change/ drop)
2.brightness
3.refresh rate
4.resolution

refresh rate跟流不流暢其實是兩件事,雖然高點會好些但低點也不會不流暢。我覺得Z9強調的是後者,但實際可能要看上市後大家的反應了。

I don’t measure noise, because i.m.o. all methods of quantizing noise lack a useful relation to the subjectively experienced noise. Instead, I just compare the results to those of other tested cameras and the reference camera visually. In this case, I just present you the results, so you can do the comparison yourself. But what I see, is that in most if not all patches noise is equal or even somewhat less than the Z 7II shows.

This is remarkable since in this test the Z 7 II even got about 0.25 stop more light. It’s very clear that there is no effect whatsoever of the stack and you can neither see any banding or other artifacts. For the results of high ISO test, I also got comparable results. Comparing was done only at ISO 3200 and 6400, but in the light of the similarity, I would be utterly surprised if the Z 9 would do worse than the Z 7II at any ISO value. All pictures have been processed with the same Nikon NX Studio beta *and again with final 1.1.0 * version, without using any noise reduction.
