生涯 11 年只打過拓荒者與金塊的 Will Barton，很意外的被交易至東區的巫師，在這金塊的 8 季當中，也算是 Barton 在聯盟生涯的巔峰時期。而打了 9 季的 Kentavious Caldwell-Pope 在發跡之初，是在活塞度過，而在湖人時期( 4 季)，幸運的拿到一枚冠軍戒指。
KCP 略輸給 Barton 的地方是較少有持球單打的爛仗能力，但較優的地方是外線的命中率，也許是因為 Jamal Murray 歸隊後，會吃掉大部分的球權，而 KCP 較像是無球跑動的射手，而因此放走待了 8 季金塊的 Will Barton。兩人的合約都是今年到期，對於薪資匹配上，也是差不多的。
