刺客再酸喬丹：他只是我對決過的No.5
名人堂球星「刺客」艾塞亞湯瑪斯(Isiah Thomas)本周在播客節目上表示，他其實一直都不知道麥可喬丹(Michael Jordan)這麼討厭他。「在我看了《最後一舞》紀錄片之前，我沒想到他是那樣看我的。」湯瑪斯表示對這個紀錄片感到既興奮又失望。
湯瑪斯是80年代頂級控衛，3次入選聯盟最佳五人。一般認為是喬丹從中作梗把湯瑪斯踢出夢幻隊，湯瑪斯說：「看來唯一不想讓我入隊的只有喬丹而已。」然後又偷酸喬丹：「他只是我打過第5強的人。我認為第1名排下來是魔術強生、賈霸、大鳥柏德、J博士、喬丹。」
主持人沙普(Shannon Sharpe)解釋說90年代才是喬丹巔峰期，80年代的喬丹其實是被後人神化的，當時他還不是個贏家。「大家說艾塞亞活該，說沒人想跟他同隊。但也有人說什麼時候私交變得那麼重要了？如果大家的目標是摘下奧運金牌，誰在乎艾塞亞的跟其他人怎麼相處？」
湯瑪斯說：「我不記得在場上對喬丹有過惡言相向，我們就是競爭以及互有勝負而已。」湯瑪斯說他沒理由仇視喬丹，「我每次對決都狠狠壓制他，其實我沒把他當成對手。我的對手一直是大鳥柏德、魔術強生、賈霸。」
