But . . I also had the chance to listen to hi-res audio files with the Blu 2/Dave combination for a few minutes. I have never heard digital music sound like this before. I have never heard anything like this combination . . . ever. The best way of describing it is depth - this allows you to hear further into the music than you have ever heard before. It's like being introduced for the first time to music with which you're familiar. The ease with which this combination just pulls up detail and space and air is truly remarkable. Utterly amazing.
This short experience was so profound as to alter my priorities in regards to future purchases. And that after only a few minutes listening. I cannot wait to listen to the combination properly with top-tier headphones, amplification and speakers in a non-show environment.
For those fortunate to own a Dave, you simply must try it in combination with the Blu 2. If you don't, you're simply not realising the true potential of what I think is the best DAC that I have ever heard.

The next thing I tried was the Blu2+ Dave. Coming from the Smyth, I was stunned that this held its own- since I was listening partly to a full 11.1 setup in that room. This was one of the 'sounds of the show' for me. Ridiculously enveloping, all-encompassing, clear, clean, expansive. I actually tried with the LCD2 and wasn't looking closely. I then passed it to my friend and said 'here, try with the LCD4.' He told me it was the 2 and I was shocked. I'd never heard it sounding like that before, and I'd figured it had to be the 4, given how I was hearing something that technically competent. I tried the Hugo2 right after, but then I listened for ten seconds, pulled it out, and laughed at Rob. Then he said, 'it's not the same, isn't it? That's why I lug the Blu2 and Dave around the world with me in my luggage'.

TT是除了有平衡輸出外，其於完敗HUGO2。不過跟DAVE還是不能比的。
WEISS DAC502 還是可以期待的。必竟線電，NEW INT204都內建了，還有POLY有的功能它也自帶了。

The DAC501 / DAC502 units are coming - finally
Towards end of next month (April) we will be able to start shipping the long awaited DAC501 and DA502 units.
We have been through a long process of hardware design work and software writing and refinement. In addition the actual manufacturing of the units was delayed due to various circumstances.
I am very grateful to all our customers who showed great patience. You will not be disappointed - the DAC501 / DAC502 is probably one of the most advanced D/A Converters currently on the market. The digital signal processor in the unit allows for audio treatments which give "highend audio playback" a new meaning.

NEW INT204 VERSION
The INT204 USB/DSD interface has gotten two revisions:
Rev A: This can be applied to all INT204 units which still use the USB driver version 1.56. After applying the revision the unit supports DSD128 as well as PCM at 352.8 and 384 kHz sampling frequencies. The INT204 unit can be revised at our office.
Units using a higher version USB driver are already revised.
Rev B: This is the latest INT204 version which also offers an IR remote controlled audio volume control. Earlier INT204 units cannot be upgraded to this version.
