其實始祖鳥成份就跟軟殼沒2樣
美軍的軟殼萊卡是2%
跟始祖鳥厚度差不多
不要認為軟殼就是要厚要保暖
這件褲子標示尺寸比實際大一號
所以買的時候要注意一下

軟殼須有的氣候防護力, rampart就沒有. 我的palisade pant跟rampart一樣都是用TerraTex (Nylon/Lycra blend), 兩者都不是軟殼, 所以Arc'teryx沒有將其歸類於軟殼類. 軟殼的定義請參考:

The TerraTex Nylon/Lycra blend material used in the construction of the Rampart, is found under the Light and Athletic category , not the softshell category.
The TerraTex material is ligherweight whereas softshell fabrics such as Fortius or Burly Double weave are going to be more weather resistant.

事實上美軍現在公發的軟殼
厚度跟質感都跟Rampart差不多
美軍軟殼沒有以厚度來做區別
不過美軍軟殼外層有多了一層特殊塗膜還是塗料
Rampart穿久了會不會起毛球?
Patagoina的L4 (也是軟殼)穿久了會起毛球
