各位大大...
我最近購買了s8000fd
但是我在網站看到有更新的版本...1.01版
但是是英文網頁看不懂...網址如下

然後我要怎麼知道我的是哪一個版本的呢?

先接住[DISP/BACK]按鈕不要放，再開機，就會顯示目前的韌體版本。

因為沒看到同好 update,所以我忍不住來當白老鼠.

FinePix S8000fd Firmware (camera control software) Update Ver.1.01

Applicable model: FinePix S8000fd
•Detail of the update

The firmware(Ver.1.01) update incorporates the following issues.
1. Countermeasure for PC connection between the 4GB memory card inserted camera and PC on Windows Vista.
Data transfer from PC to the camera has been enabled under usage of FinePixViewer.

2. Fix the issues in high speed continuous Shooting function when ISO sensitivity is set to "AUTO".
• Exposure level shooting in low brightness condition has been corrected.
(In some shooting condition, dark or black images are captured even in gloomy scenes.)
• Miss description of ISO sensitivity on Exif tag has been corrected, when shooting at ISO640.
(ISO sensitivity was recorded as "ISO64". mistakenly.)

c.Prepare the power supply.
Use the AC adapter (AC-5VX).
*If you do not have it, you may use new 2-AA type alkaline batteries, or fully-charged 2-AA type Ni-MH batteries

我升級的步驟:
1.到 http://www.fujifilm.com/products/digital/download/s8000fd/fupd.html

取回:
Firmware upgrade
File name FPUPDATE.DAT
File size 3,778,652 bytes

因為用他們的 transfer program 實在太麻煩.
用讀卡機,把 FPUPDATE.DAT copy 到 S8000fd 的儲存卡的根.(就是最外一層)

2.找一個 DC 5V 的電源,(雖然說可用飽滿的電池,但我實際運作時,不接受,還是要接外部電源),插在 DC in 5v 那個插口.
3.按住 disp/back 同時開機,就會有版本及升級的畫面出現.照指示動作即可.

我是升級成功,整個過程很短,正如所說的 10 秒之內 .

我升級成功後,把儲存卡的 FPUPDATE.DAT 檔刪除.

以上給想升級的同好參考.

就是下面第一條的警告,讓我等了好幾天.

•Precaution

1. If firmware updating fails, the camera may no longer operate correctly in some cases.
Carefully read the notes provided here.

2. Always use the AC adapter when updating the firmware as a basic manner.
Never turn the camera off or attempt to use any of the camera controls while the firmware is being overwritten.

3. Firmware updating requires approximately 10 seconds.

4. Once the firmware has been updated, the previous version cannot be restored.
