A Sunday morning 6:30am, I was in a hotel in Barstow CA, about 400 miles away from my home. My plan was I arrived my home around 2pm with one hour lunch break...
Guess what... As a result, I got home around 12pm and ate my lunch at home, in addition to about 20 minutes stop at a gas station for a refuel and restroom uses!!!
I never thought my F could make it, not to mention it was against the wind ALL THE TIME!!! It was so much fun on the way, too!!!
PS:
When my wife told me we're going to leave Hwy5 and enter Hwy 580, I suddenly realized we're one hour earlier than our original plan!!!
Hwy 5 is the main highway between LA and San Jose and is quite busy most of time. In the beginning I was worried about those slower cars which might slow me down. It seemed they didn't slow me down much, as I kept downshifting the gear to 4th or even 3rd, 5000-5500rpm if needed!!!
(I think those cars passed by me should be able to hear the sound, just not me, as the car exhaust is in the back, not in the front!!!
(Believe it or not, these very old premium Nissans are actually VERY HOT in used car market!!! I'm not sure whether this is good or not???
