Make sure you always charge the battery completely full (ie till the light comes on green) the first 5 to 10 times... FULL means charging it double the time it takes for the light to become green. Green light means 90% (although indicators show 100%), and the last 10% takes the double the time to 'squeeze' in there. A battery has to 'set'.... So be sure you to follow this guide.

Actually im not surprised you getting really good battery life now. its the constant total discharging and recharging the battery thats extended the life of it. lithium ion batteries need a minimum of 5 full discharge and recharge cycles before it reaches 100% of its potential power. People complaining of short battery life probably havent done the proper battery care or havent had the phone long enough for it to reach its full potential battery power. As a rule its good to totally discharge a lithium ion battery once a month for optimum use, but if its new its best to do the discharge and recharge cycles as soon as possible to get the battery upto its full potential power. After this is done you wil get far better battery life and to continue this battery care should be carried out once a month.
Do you leave your phone on the charger all night? If so DONT - nothing screws up a battery more than that. Since my last post I ran my battery all the way down to like 20% then fully charged it. Battery life much improved. I charged it on the wall charger and left it alone during that time - no turn on no nothing.
I work in an area with no 3G - bummer - and so I turn off the 3G in the morning and this seems to save battery. Also, I have noticed that, as some have noted, that the more full charge - discharge cycles I go through the longer the battery lasts. When I got my Kaiser some 2 weeks ago I had about 14 hours of battery. I now get about 36 hours of battery.

Don't discharge a Li-polymer battery (or Li-ion) completely as it degrades the battery. These batteries are shipped partially charged for a very good reason. You can let it go very low, but you should not let it drain completely as the battery performance may suffer after a complete discharge!
