Festival Automobile International最早從1986年開始舉辦，自1987年起，大會首度舉辦了「The Most Beautiful Car of the Year」票選活動，並在日後成為每年Festival Automobile International的一項傳統與重頭戲。而後，主辦單位又陸續加入了各種獎項，整合成為一場盛大的「Grand Prizes」票選活動。至於今年最受關注的大獎「The Most Beautiful Car of the Year」，在經過近15萬人於專屬網站與社群網站等處投票後，最後由Alpine A110拿下這項「全世界最美汽車」的殊榮。至於第二、第三名車款則分別為BMW新一代跨界休旅X2與來自地主國的DS 7 Crossback。
1955年創廠的Alpine，是法國一間知名的性能小跑車廠，曾推出不少膾炙人口的經典小跑車與賽車，不過因後來母公司Renault決定放棄這個品牌，Alpine便在1995年最後一輛A610下線後，沈寂了近20年的時間未再推出任何品作品，讓不少法國車迷覺得惋惜。而後，Renault終於決定重啟這個性能品牌，並在2017年的日內瓦讓Alpine推出了暌違已久的新作品「A110」，也象徵Alpine的重新出發。
A110的車名來自品牌於1971與1973年拿下Monte Carlo Rally冠軍的A110 Berlinette，車身線條設計除了加入現代元素外，也融入了不少1960年代A110 Berlinette的復古設計。由於擁有全鋁合金車體，因此車重僅為1080公斤，車身尺碼為長4178mm、寬1798mm、高1252mm，搭載來自Renault的1.8升渦輪動力單元並採中置配置，最大馬力為252hp，0～100km/h僅需4.5秒即可完成，並限量1995輛販售。
另外下方則附上的車款則是Festival Automobile International近十年來「The Most Beautiful Car of the Year」得主。
