otherwise, pick up a model taht share with main memory by lower grade controller...
U can't think a laptop has such powerful vedio chipset as desktop.. or, u can choose
"Allienware" <- huge and terrible heavy, dinosaur age thing! I guess u know this MSF

I bought 2 thinkpads recently, within 3 months, since the first T42 1.8G
than T43p 2.13G .. both with individual video card, 1G ram...
one with R-9000 32M , another one with FireGL 3200-128M
so reliable and stable.. really really excellent!!! I can' t find out any word I can
say that I made a right choice!! how great u will feel u become a TP user..
For T43p
I found something barely different with t42,
T43 has Hot air come out from the vent all the time, even I just surfing internet
and the fan is still too loud.. & shorter battery life than T42.... papa pala..
