The weather information was directly from "current page" of 中央氣象局 (http://www.cwb.gov.tw/V4/index.htm). I did not see "南投" on that page.
The developer is trying to add the "forecast" into next release (I don't know when).Another option is to find other weather source. But, I thought "中央氣象局" is the "ONLY" source in Taiwan. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Thanks for posting. That was a bug.
The image was refreshed but not the information. I will let developer know and will post the new one once he fixed it.
Edit: One way to get around is to select another city. I just spoke with uk_skinner, and he will try to fix this minor bug.
Edit: That was a quick fix.

I am glad to hear you like the program.
Both myself and developer (uk_skinner) are in USA and no Chinese Input in our computer. So it is very diffcult for me to post Chinese here. However, I have no problem to read post in Chinese (or Taiwanese Chinese).

Based on my understading, this program was developed in Microsoft Visual Studio .Net. It was tested on PPC2003.

, 在這之前我並沒有安裝 .NET Compact Framework 1.0,在安裝這個 service pack 之後程式已經可以執行了,
不過卻會不斷的出現下圖這個畫面...
當我點選了 Yes 之後他會下載兩個檔案, 待下載完成之後,
還是不斷的循環重複出現上述的視窗,
這可奇怪了, 難道是跟其他程式有衝突??
想到這裡, 卯起來機子就把它"格"下去啦(格之前當然是先備份囉
)接著再安裝、執行...... 怎麼還是一樣的狀況?? 這下我可沒輒了....

I asked the developer. Here was what he thought.
The program will load data.txt and 1.jpg when it starts. If not, a window will pop-up and ask you to download. He will check whether there is a bug.
Do you have these 2 files in the same folder as TW-Weather?
Edit: I removed the data.txt and 1 .jpg from the folder and the window pop-up (but looks like you have 1.jpg in the folder, I don't see any image in my case). After tapping "ok", both data.txt and 1.jpg were downloaded and everything looks fine. My suggestion is to install the one from Cab folder (it is in the zip file).

我看了一下, 目錄底下共有四個檔案:
1.jpg data.txt TW_Weather.exe vsd_setup.dll
我也有嘗試將 1.jpg data.txt 這兩個檔案刪除,
然後執行程式點選OK開始下載檔案,
這時候我去看TW_Weather 的資料夾底下確實已經有產生了 1.jpg 跟 data.txt 這兩個檔案,
但是下載完畢之後仍然顯示 no data.txt found...,
ARM.CAB跟ARMV4.CAB這兩個我都試著安裝過,
不過仍然是相同的問題存在著耶.
(謎之音: 看了那麼多人回應, 為什麼別人用都沒問題, 就你不能用啊
)我....我....我真的不是故意找麻煩啊~~~~~~歹勢啦
