D. White 離隊，誰接手先發呢？我個人是推薦 Lonnie Walker IV，而不是 D. Vassell。Lonnie Walker IV 很敢衝，得分暴發力很強，搭日益成熟的 Dejounte Murray，說不定會是互補。
二年級生Vassell 反而被動些，但投籃較穩定，他與 Tre Jones 較容易馬上接手板凳組，與新成員，包含前段時間才上 Zach Collins 來搭配。
此外，這些交易新成員，不乏得分手，有 Goran Dragic、Josh Richardson 和 Romeo Langford。然而，團隊默契上，還需要有時間磨合。
Dragic 本季只上場 5 次，很明顯的是戰力外的因素，而不是能力下滑，從板凳出發，早從熱火隊時期就是這模式，也許，他的經驗正也可以是目前的馬刺小將需要的。
火力不差的 Richardson 轉了好多隊，幾乎都待不久，真不知問題出在哪？希望他適時的從板凳有貢獻，在 Udoka 底下還可以適應，來到了馬刺，沒理由出狀況，只是，別倚老賣老。
Langford 的處境就尷尬了，只能自求多福。
