Will the Nets play Ben Simmons at the center position this season ?

Simmons is already caught in Nets rumors as there is chatter that the playmaking wing could be stretched to the five-position. A report from NBA insider Alex Schiffer of The Athletic indicates that the Nets organization is looking to give Simmons minutes, as the team’s center.

Schiffer inferred that it really depends on what General Manager Sean Marks sees in the next couple of weeks at training camp, including the now-completely healthy Simmons. If the 3-time All-Star comes out of the gate strong and confident then there’s a chance that the Nets will use him as the big man in their small-ball lineup.

很多人認為籃網版的死亡五小更勝勇士版的，但，問題的癥結點，還不是 Simmons 扛不扛中鋒，而是籃網沒有「Andre Iguodala」這樣全能的前鋒。

Royce O'Neale夠格嗎？我懷疑，可是，如果他做得很棒，成為「小五籃」的「Andre Iguodala」，這可真是太恐怖組合！

渡邊雄太是很好的第 3 梯隊防守組，一旦上場就積極認真，是籃網需要的綠葉球員。有沒有辦法擠進開季名單呢 ? 我希望可以，但是，機或是很小的。整支籃網，談得上防守的，大概就 Ben Simmons 和 Royce O'Neale，其餘的大多是防守漏洞。認真講，Kevin Durant 的防守功夫不差，不過防守態度就是看求勝心。

籃網該多考慮再找幾名像渡邊這樣的防守組，但看看教練是 Steve Nash ，一場比賽僅用 7~ 8 人，我大概就腦袋打結了。

Morris, 32, averaged 7.6 points and 2.6 rebounds last season for the Miami Heat, as he was limited to 17 games because of a whiplash injury.

Nets sharpshooter Joe Harris expected to be 100% for training camp。

According to Nets insider Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports that Harris’ agent claims he is fully prepared for training camp. Per Lewis:

“He’s doing great. He’s great,” Priority Sports founder Mark Bartelstein told The Post. “He’s 100 percent. He’s in a great place.”

When asked if he had been cleared for five-on-five basketball, Bartelstein confirmed he was, “Yes. He’s all good. He’s all good. He’s healthy. He’s in great place. He’s ready to go for sure.”

Chris Chiozza signing confirmed as an Exhibit 10. And I stand corrected, the Nets could send him to the G League。

Chiozza 回布魯克林未必受重用，但先有安身立命的所在。他會是很棒的組織者，可惜，這支球隊的後場太競爭了。

The Nets say they have re-signed guard David Duke Jr. to a two-way contract。菜鳥也簽約了。

籃網先發的控衛到底會是誰？ Kyrie Irving ？ Ben Simmons ？論傳球的水準，Simmons 應該是略勝一籌，但究竟在隊上要如何運作，我真的好奇。搞不好，最後的組織者是 K.D。

替補上，Patrick Mills 和 Seth Curry 也可以帶球，但兩人都偏向得分的角色。於是，Jevon Carter 就比較像是正統的控球。要等到 Jevon Carter 有機會上場，應該是很不得已，或輸很多了。

癥結點，還是教練 Nash 帶兵的用人策略，假如，他維持以往的風格。隊上的第 9 ~ 15 人是沒什麼上場時間的。Chris Chiozza 的作用，我推測只是當備胎，當正規軍的陪練而已，並不是為了要使用他的能耐。
