是的，沒 K.D，沒 Donovan Mitchell，熱火選責了保持原陣容，但仍有大家較不為人知的事！
低調的熱火隊，媒體也鮮少報導，他們也默默的找了些球員。
後衛：Kyle Lowry、Tyler Herro、Victor Oladipo、Max Strus、Gabe Vincent、Jamaree Bouyea、Marcus Garrett（後衛 7 名）
前鋒：Jimmy Butler、Duncan Robinson、Caleb Martin、Nikola Jovic、Haywood Highsmith、Jamal Cain、Darius Days（ 前鋒 6 名）
中鋒：Bam Adebayo、Dewayne Dedmon、Omer Yurtseven、Orlando Robinson。（中鋒 4 名）

其中，前鋒 Jamal Cain、中鋒 Orlando Robinson 和控球 Jamaree Bouyea 是今年落選的球員，相同的地方是，都是打了 3、4 年的大學籃球。大三棄學的大前鋒 Darius Days 甚至連選秀都沒參加，在夏聯也不是熱火隊，而是參加馬刺。
這是一支違反了奪冠熱門常態的球隊，縱使極欲提升實力，仍不忘給無名年輕球員一個機會。

又一個落選的奇蹟！？Cain’s averaged 17 points and 8.5 rebounds in Heat’s past two preseason games。
Jamal Cain 在 Marquette 打了 4 年大學籃球，之後再去 Oakland 打一年，所以，以年紀看，已經 23 歲，相對大多數大一、 大二棄學的 NBA 菜鳥，簡直就是多了 3 ~ 4 年的歷練。
Cain 出身 Marquette 大學，就是 D- Wade 的學弟，6-7 的 3D 球員。

防守也沒到崩盤，但從上季失分 105 到本季 110，這差 5 分的距離，就讓跌入了深淵？不，我不認為！
早在暑期，K. Durant 點名到熱火隊的時候，熱火隊內應該是就出現波動，有些被點名的球員，很可能出現異心。後來，訓練營時期 Jae Crowder 也喊話要回熱火，多少又讓少數球員再起煩憂，能在熱火待多久？
若我是 Jimmy Butler，我當然希望能用 Bam Adebayo、Tyler Herro 等一票年輕的去換 Durant，因為 Butler 不年輕了。
若我是 Adebayo，能送 Jimmy Butler 去換 Jae Crowder 和 Cameron Johnson 等綠葉回來，我就能當球隊一哥了。
總總流言，或多或少重傷了熱火隊的內部，能不能解決？問題在熱火要不要立刻衝擊總冠軍！ 如果要，很快就該拿年輕人做交易。如果還要養年輕世代，不如，拿 Butler 去換潛力或配角回來，等 Adebayo 和 Herro 成大器。
本季，各隊各懷鬼胎，坦，不是壞事！

Heat's Tyler Herro 1st in NBA history with nine 3s on consecutive days !
"I didn't know it was the record until last night when I hit nine, and they said I was one short," Herro said. "I didn't have any intention of coming in to tie the record, but I was just trying to get 3s up. I think shooting more 3s is helping."
