The 18-year-old point-forward plays like no one else in the world with his staggering size and frame he continues to grow into, along with his 7-foot-9 wingspan (some say it’s 7-foot-10). To see him take players off the dribble and step into 3-pointers from Stephen Curry range defies everything you would ever expect from a young player with his size. He’s most noticeable on the defensive end as a rim protector and effectively guarding wings off the pick-and-roll switch. Think Rudy Gobert mixed with Kevin Durant and Anthony Davis. That’s what Wembanyama is projected to be. If you think that comp is too outrageous, then how about a larger Giannis Antetokounmpo without any weaknesses.
Seriously. He’s that good.

，先天條件真的太有潛力了，但移動速度沒有快到以能拉到外面打。
覺得適應NBA禁區強度後，加上本來就很好的放球跟中距離，完全體是狗貝超進化版。
要知道一件大事，下屆奧運在巴黎，Wembanyama 和 Rudy Gobert 會合體，我很好奇，除了美國隊，哪一國不會被慘電？
Wembanyama 以外，從 U19 也看到幾名條件不差的球員。而活賽隊也有 Killian Hayes 和 Sekou Doumbouya 在成長。尼克隊有正值顛峰的 Evan Fournier，有點迷途的 Frank Ntilikina，雷霆隊 Théo Maledon，籃網隊有 Timothe Luwawu-Cabarrot，灰熊隊有 Killian Tillie （6-9）。
三年後的法國隊，只會更強，其中，Wembanyama 的進步絕對是關鍵中的關鍵！

只剩 1 年了，用 LeBron 的能耐，來畫 Wembanyama 的天花板，夠嗆 ! 至於，哪些隊伍有機會呢 ? 或者，那些球隊比較適合 Wembanyama 呢 ?
以東區來看，不知為何選了 Banchero 的魔術依然有機會，魔術具有天份的球員一籮筐，打得出來的，零個。亂打一通，打到再換教練，繼續擺爛的機率也不是沒有。其次，就是溜馬隊，菜鳥 Bennedict Mathurin 連球隊一哥都還沒當上，就在嗆 LeBron，我看總管與教練都會看不下去吧 ? 隊上的 Malcolm Brogdon 傳聞要交易掉，而 Myles Turner 要被交易的傳聞，更是傳了兩年了，像這樣的球隊，當然有機會偷到 Wembanyama。第三支是近日烏煙瘴氣的籃網隊，兩大王牌都在搞奇怪的發言，我看籃網快破了，坦下去算了。
西區的話，有傳聞要用 Dejounte Murray 來換選秀權的馬刺最有可能搶墊底，如果連一哥都賣了，這支球隊看來是不想在明年混了。置之死地而後生，馬刺的如意算盤是走捷徑。其次是火箭隊，火箭這兩年累積的天賦算是聯盟前五名的高，但是，誰來領導他們 ? 怎麼看，火箭隊的菜鳥們就是經驗不足，年輕氣盛，且缺乏團結的凝聚力，分開來看都很強，組再一起，可能就是災難。最後，是剛換教練的國王隊，國王看似找了 Mike Brown 想要重振旗鼓，但在選秀會上竟跳過 Jaden Ivey ，讓一票美國的活塞迷爽到彎腰，連基本的談條件，撈一支 Davion Mitchell 或 Donte DiVincenzo 才肯給的計畫都沒有，我看國王的總管真的是沒有籃球腦。賭 De'Aaron Fox 而放棄 Jaden Ivey 的策略，很可能又是讓國王走錯路。
總結來說，魔術、籃網、溜馬、馬刺、火箭與國王，很有機會是倒數的 6 隊，這 6 隊獲得狀元籤的機率也越高。哪一隊較適合 Wembanyama 呢 ? 絕對是馬刺。
Ivey and Holmgren were top-five picks in this draft, and Wembanyama would most definitely have been the No. 1 pick in this year’s draft and arguably the No. 1 pick in the last three draft classes. He’s the best young prospect in the world, regardless of class.
這位籃球作家 ( Krysten Peek Fri, June 24, 2022, 9:00 PM )的評語是近三年選，都會是狀元。這話應該會讓 Anthony Edwards 和 Cade Cunningham 跳腳，但也別太生氣，這兩位狀元也都沒拿新人王，自己還是摸摸鼻子，苦練去。去年賽季打到後來，騎士的 Evan Mobley 影響力比 Cunningham 更巨大，雖然在新人王得票上輸給 Scottie Barnes。而 LaMelo Ball 除了拿新人王，也在去年入選 明星賽，這點我想 Edwards 必須要很清楚。要不是灰狼在本季打入季後賽，這股氣勢恐還是被 LaMelo Ball 壓得死死的。
