Brunello Cucinelli 1953年出生於位於義大利中部 Perugia 郊區的農家，這是一個15世紀就已存在的小村子，純樸而富有中古世紀風範。
25歲的時候他創業開了一間小公司投入於羊絨（Cashmere）染色，伴隨著世界對義大利工藝的喜好，他搭上了這一波熱潮，經過多年努力一躍成為在該領域的知名大廠，與另一義大利老牌 Loro Piana 成為羊絨界的霸主。
年幼時期家庭的困苦深刻影響了他，使他致力於提倡人文主義，並主張對於物質財富應保持節制，事業的成功也讓他有餘力來實踐他的理想。
目前世界精品大概已經被幾個集團收購地差不多了，整體瀰漫著一股奢華俗氣，同樣標榜內斂低調的 Loro Piana 在納入 LVMH 之後，也只能一昧地搜刮壟斷各產地的毛皮，創造新級距以誇示材質的高貴。而在 Brunello Cucinelli 的官網上，則可以找到一整區述說著他的哲學思想，讓人感受到一股溫暖，當然這大概也只有家族企業的創辦人才有辦法做到理念的堅持與推廣，希望她的兩個女兒能把 Brunello Cucinelli 的理想持續發揚光大！
Brunello Cucinelli 於 1985 年在故鄉附近的 Solomeo 買下了一座頹圮的古堡並進行改建，除了作為公司的營運總部外，也是實現他理想，推廣人文主義的基地，隨後他也逐步地把這個小鎮依造他的理念改造，建立了博物館、藝文中心與劇院等。

在他們的古堡裡，隨處可見標語來啟發員工，像這一塊意思是「When our soul is full of sentiment, our work is full of fascination.」
Brunello Cucinelli Logo 並沒有找到官方的解釋，中間的古堡代表的就是 Solomeo 總部，而上方的神獸應該是高貴的象徵，下方的日期 AD MCCCXCI 則是指中古世紀西元 1391 年，Solomeo 的居民團結起來抵禦外侮，選出了領主並籌建城堡。

終於見到了本尊，一般而言買鞋子還是會以專業製鞋品牌為首選，不過各鞋廠有自己的定位與風格，有時候很難找到對味的，這時候就看看精品品牌有沒有在設計上符合需求的作品，這次就是看對眼才出手，是不是手工等諸多堅持也就拋開了。
老實說對「登山鞋」的定義我其實也不是很清楚，似乎是須具備有多重交錯的綁帶或厚實的膠底？尤其是這種 D 型扣環。

此款的材質部分為米色 Nubuck 皮革，可以說是 Suede（麂皮）一體的兩面，Suede 是牛皮往體內的那一面，Nubuck 則是外側的那一面，動物外皮因為蟲咬等難免有損傷，所以價格會高一些，此外 Suede 較為柔軟，而 Nubuck 則較為堅韌，拿來做為戶外使用堪稱允當。
另一個特點則是在腳踝附近有著美麗諾羊毛（Merino Wool）的保護層。
鞋身與鞋緣各一條簡單縫線，相當簡約。

Nubuck 摸起來還蠻舒服的，感覺比麂皮光滑細緻。
如果換上附贈的另一條米色鞋帶，就相對低調柔和。
當一個經典鞋款確立之後，就會開始出現季節款，開始針對皮革與顏色做變化，此為棕色麂皮款，感覺較為高貴而不宜太操！
