I really don't want to pay for duty (got ripped of so many times already), so the uDAC-2 is my only logical choice. BTW, I saw a set of Audioengine A5 on craigslist for 280, pretty tempted.
do you know how the A2 compare to the MX5021? I'm really curious as if I should keep them or not. But again the sub is pretty useless to me because I am not a basshead, and I only have the bass setting at 20%.
I also thought are getting passive bookshelf speakers from places like futureshop and bestbuy, but then I would have to spend a lot more on an amp.
If you're to use A2 to listen some decent music, I think would be worth of upgrade, plus if you're gonna get uDAC2, that sould be a great package already ...
Altec Lansing MX5021 is a dynamic speaker so it touches every kind of music in some basis, though a bit shallow ... My thought is that plastic cannot compete with wood made speaker especially when the sound quality is close enough to home audio on your desktop ...
