I'm an average driver like the most of the drivers on the road...
I tested 0-96 on 2019 Q60 300hp, 2018 M4 competition at the same location and similar condition in 2019.
Q60 : 5.28 M4 : 5.01 (without launch control)
If you don't believe my numbers, you can test them on your own. (I hope everyone can do it on your own and you will find it's very different than you thought but safety is always the highest priority)
If I buy any of these cars, it's ME, not those professional racing drivers that will drive the car... So, those perfect numbers made by those professional drivers are not very useful for me!!!
1. Some testers are biased. 2. Those European cars are fast only if you turn off traction controls. The differences could be around 0.5-1 second. (Of course, I turn on the traction control ALL THE TIME especially for those 300 or above hp cars)
The below video shows Q50 3.0t can run 0-100 in 6.18. I'm an average driver and still can do much better than that even with T/C on!!! (That's just ridiculous!!!)
---------------------
I would like to put some numbers from my personals 0-60 tests here... 2017 GSF(my current car, 7K miles, almost empty gas tank) = 4.93 2007 G35S (my previous car and now my son's car, 112K miles, almost empty gas tank) = 5.07 2010 M35X(my wife's car, 30K miles, almost empty gas tank) = 5.82 2019 Q60 3.0t(loaner, 300hp, 6K miles, 3/4 gas tank) = 5.28 2014 Q50 3.7(loaner, 6K miles, 3/4 gas tank) = 5.67 2018 M4 competition (rental, 25K miles, 3/4 gas tank) = 5.01 All the tested cars were stock and the tests were done at the same location and similar weather and conditions(T/C is on) with iphone DYNOLICIOUS. PS: I also found Nissans were very good at 0-60 but not so good for 1/4. I didn't test 1/4 since it's illegal on public roads.
