Believe it or not... The Bose sound system in my son's G35S mysteriously returned to the normal last month...

Now, one month later it's still working!!! I also tell my son to turn on the radio every time he drives the car.
(This could be like the front driver side power window stuck issue from my daughter's M35X 6 years ago, I told my wife and daughter to use that power window at least once a week. Now it's still working PERFECTLY!!!)

However, I also found another issue... Some bottom cushions of the driver seat are badly compressed and not even or level!!! The other seats are still good and feel like "NEW" but the driver seat does feel like "OLD". I never own a car which is over 15 year old. Now, I finally realize what those "OLD" cars feel like...

By the way, all the members of my family weight less than 65kg.

In my opinion, these Japanese luxury cars with NA engines...
(Of course, you still need to do those maintenances properly)

Below 10 year old = New car (You can push them to the limits anytime)
11-15 year old = Middle-aged (You can push them to the limits but carefully)
Above 16 year old = Old car (You still can push them to the limits but you may soon need to repair them)

Now, I try to avoid driving my son's old Nissan at all costs because... If I drive his old Nissan "with my driving style", we may soon need to repair his old Nissan!!!

PS: Like I said, people may become more and more greedy(When your car can last for 20 years, why doesn't it last for 30 years???) Of course, I will NOT complain at these Japanese cars because... If I complain at them, there will be NO CAR I could buy in the future!!!

My 2017 GSF is almost 6 year old now...

However, it's basically still a "NEW" car for me!!! (I never consider it as an "OLD" car so far)

Of course, if your driving style is like my son's. The lifespan could be longer. However, if you drive your car like STOLE it, the lifespan should be even shorter!!!

Now my son's nearly 16 year old Nissan officially classified as "OLD" but it doesn't feel slower at all...

The last time I tested 0-96km/h on it was about 7 years ago. The result was 5.07s!!!

It's my son car now. I will not test 0-96km/h on it again... But, I'm confident it should still be able to do 5.3-5.5s...

PS: My daughter's 2010 M35X with original factory spark plugs did 5.83s last year!!! (6 years ago, it was 5.82s)

Today I asked my wife to try the driver seat in my son's old Nissan...

Guess what... She said she didn't feel anything abnormal... My son also said the driver seat was OK and didn't found anything wrong...

I guess maybe I'm a bit picky... (Of course, my current car is GSF! NO WONDER... )

My son's G35S was in a repair shop for a tire change... (front only)

The mechanic also checked the battery... The battery looked good even over 3 years later. (look like my battery floating charger is working!!!)

The repair shop also did some visual checks and everything looked good...

Also did wheel alignment... Again, everything was good!!! (The last alignment was done 6 years ago!!!)

My son's car is lowered with PSS10. It also has front & rear camber kits. The camber settings were not perfect but still OK. So, the mechanic even didn't bother to adjust the camber settings!!!

Total labor charges = 35*2(tire installation & balance) + 110 (alignment without camber adjustments) = $180USD (The labor in USA is very expensive!!!)

I think people need to be very careful when buying a used turbo car...

This guy tuned his new Accord 2.0t and beat it to death for a while. Then removed any tunes and modifications and sold it back to a Honda dealer!!!

Believe it or not...

This winter should be a very devastating winter in California!!! (continuous storms for almost a month!!!)

Now it's finally over... Fortunately, my son old Nissan having some water leak problems got through all those storms and nothing crazy so far...

Last year his Nissan encountered a bad thermostat problem. I'm a little curious what problem we will encounter this year???

I also found my son recently babied his Nissan a bit... I asked him why??? He answered "I hate repairing a car!!!"

PS: My son still drives his old Nissan daily... So, its mileage now gets higher QUICKLY!!!
