【栗維尼 塗鴉牆】
It was the time to burn up calories after munching on the delicious chocolate in Devonport chocolate factory. Devonport is a small historical seaside village for whiling away. It is one of the oldest area in Auckland whose advantageous location makes it close to NZ navy. You could explore the Torpedo Bay Naval Museum for its history If interested.
吃完美味的巧克力後當然是要散散步消耗一下熱量，德文港是一個很好消磨時間的歷史海濱小鎮，也是奧克蘭其中之一最古老的地區。因為地理位置，這個海濱小鎮就成為與紐西蘭海軍很緊密的一個地方，有興趣的話也可以參觀海軍博物館了解其歷史。
Enjoy the picturesque sea view of the Devonport beach while you walk along the King Edward parade. You could see the sky tower and lots of yachts on the sea during summer time. Don't forget to see the Victorian buildings on the other side of the road and one of the famous ones is the Elizabeth House (click here). There are some choices of B&B to stay one night however the room rate isn't reasonable price for a backpacker.We walked too much on the day hence took a rest on the bench and fell asleep. we had finally opened our eyes after 30 mins and then continue walking towards the north head.
沿著King Edward parade可以欣賞devonport beach的美景，夏天時有很多帆船停在海上，也能夠看到天空塔。別忘了看看海岸邊非常的別致維多莉亞式的房子，若是想在這住上一晚，這裡也有許多間B&B，但以背包客來說，房價當然也是不便宜，其中最著名的就是兩棟連結的Elizabeth House(點我)。如果走累了也可以坐在椅子上休息，栗與維尼也許是當天走太多路，最後兩人就坐在椅子上睡著了，睜開眼睛後才又繼續走，最後跟著沿岸再沿著指標才走到北頭。
Same as the way we visited Mt. Eden, we followed a shortcut to the summit. North head is a naval base where there are some historical guns and tunnels for display which were completed in 1890's with the purpose of preventing invasion during War II. The invasion did not happen and guns only shot for practice and salute for Queen Elizabeth ll nowadays. Sometimes it's really hard to imagine that such military base is so close to citizen housing community.
如同早上爬Mt.Eden時，栗與維尼一樣不走正常道路，而是直接找捷徑上山。北頭以前是一個海軍重地，有砲台有隧道，在1890年代建造完成，原本是在二次世界大戰要防禦入侵，但最後敵人也沒有入侵，因此北頭這個軍事重地後來只有在英國女皇到訪或者練習時開過砲。有時候你會很難想像，原本這樣的軍事重地是如此接近社區人家的住宅。
It's a totally different view to overlook Auckland from Mt. Eden and from North head respectively. Here on the North Head you could enjoy the sea breeze blowing against your face; meanwhile you also could overlook the Motutapu island. Mt. Victoria is another higher point in Devonport than North Head; however we did not visit there as we almost lost our energy after walking throughout the day and our next spot-the Christmas display in Auckland city was awaiting us !
在北頭上看風景與Mt.Eden的感受完全不同。邊享受奧克蘭市區以及天空塔的景色時，你可以完全地享受海風吹到臉上的輕撫感，而且也可以遠眺Motutapu island。德文港還有另外一處更高的Mt. Victoria，但因為時間太晚而且兩人腳程力也已經用得差不多就沒有再過去走走，因為晚上還有非常經典的奧克蘭聖誕裝置要參觀。
