u may not need super expensive amps to drive b&w speakers. If you browse some US b&w user forum, u will find many user use "regular" amps to get excellent result.
for ur budget, u can consider 800D, Htm2 center. as for surround, depends on ur space and size, u can get 802D or use HTM2, HTM3D, or 805s as surround.
Classe are good match for b&w. u can use 5200 for 5 channel. for better performance, u can use two 2200 to biamp 800D and 3200 for center and surround channels.
Bryston are another good match for b&w. they are cheaper than Classe but offer excellent result.
Krell and Mark Levingston are also good match for b&w. u can find the one u like the most.
for preamp/processor, the best choice usually the matching one with amp. for example, if you choose Classe amp, a logical choice would be matching pre/pro. If you choose Krell, the matching pre/pro are good choice.
don't spend too much money on cables. spend 10% of ur budget the most on cables.
