Today I went to Hwy-17 again...

Guess what... I encountered a very aggressive pickup and a Macan. Actually that pickup was fast and very aggressive. It could be among the most aggressive pickup on my list. I had to maintain 0.7G on the bends to keep tailing behind that pickup!!!

That pickup is not only fast but also much faster than that Macan... For me, that Macan was kind of slow and slower than the previous Land Rover I met... (That pickup was also faster than that Land Rover and about as fast as that GT3!!!)

Actually I has a problem today... The problem was I felt so sleepy on hwy-17!!!

I never felt so sleepy on hwy-17 before. I did NOT drive my GSF slow. I already kept 0.5-0.6G constantly on every bend. However, at the third round (the last round) I had hard time keeping await...(even after I opened my GSF's windows)

This issue could be dangerous as I'm quite fast on every bend... I also don't want to increase my speed which could get a speeding ticket or become illegal!!!

Actually I had a similar issue when I drove my previous car 2000 Maxima(Koni Yellow+H&R) through 雪山隧道 in 2007. The speed limit was so low in the tunnel. I couldn't change any lane in the tunnel, either. The Koni dampers were so stable. I was barely await because it's too boring. Therefore, I almost got a serious accident!!! (I woke up just before the accident happened!!!)

I think I better find some other mountain roads which are more CHALLENGING!!! Now, Hwy-17 becomes too boring for me...

I don't go beyond 0.8G on public roads. In my opinion, 0.7G on public roads is actually more dangerous than 0.9G on private racetracks. On public roads anything unexpected could happen!!!

Remember, F1 racing drivers also have to obey the speed limits in the pit lanes which could be as low as 60km/h!!!

This is the serious accident I mentioned one month ago...

At that weekend, two fatal accidents happened on that highway. Two drivers were killed and both drove pickups!!! (These pickup drivers are really crazy...)

When I was a student I rented a U-Haul truck to move out of my apartment... Guess what... I was so scary because I hardly kept that truck going straight on highways!!! (It's a little windy at that day)

I have to say those aggressive pickup drivers are really have VERY STRONG hearts!!!

Fast drivers drive slow cars and slow drivers drive fast cars... In reality fast drivers driving slow cars are usually faster than slow drivers driving fast cars!!!

My wife said DCT in M4 was too jerky and uncomfortable in city traffic...

Guess what... Now all new M3/4/5 will not use DCT anymore. They all adopt 8AT now. I think my wife was right!!!

4 years ago, almost all the reviewers said BMW's DCT was much better than Lexus's 8/10AT... Now those comments sound nonsense and stupid!!!

DCT is definitely faster than 8AT but the difference is very subtle but 8AT is so much smoother... Overall 8AT is better and reliable...
