Yes ..... price wise, quite a few American Muscle cars cost roughly the same or cheaper!

The two are different breeds of cars all together though!

In OZ, Police used to only have V6 / V8 (Corvette engines) Commodores until they started losing urban environment car chases (AWD cars quicker rounding bends)!

So they switched to modded WRX for urban patrol, Commodores for highway patrol.

With that being said, I think the price tag of WRX is a tad too steep, in Taiwan!

The V8 Mustangs' direct competitors on Car and Driver site lists other V8 American Muscles as well!

They had to call in the chopper on your friend?

I don't know why choppers aren't called in for most car pursuits in OZ ……

In rural areas they do ……

版上很多人有分享過試駕心得，如果將動力控制系統切換到S#模式的話CVT變速箱的反應就會變得很靈敏。

而且從加速數據來看手排(0-100km)：6秒，CVT(0~100km)：6.3秒，0.3秒的差異一般用家應該感受不到也不會在意。

當然手排有手排的愛好者，但在台灣時常塞車加上紅綠燈數量很多，大部分買家還是會選擇比較省油的CVT版本。
