However the age of the camera also mean it need service.
M6 can use without battery, so even no battery, the meter will be inop, shutter are still working for all speed like M2/3/4/5. The classic M6 can accept 50mm Dr lens with close adaptor, which the M6TTL cannot.
MA is the latest Leica Manual camera. no battery compartment also mean no meter at all, but the good thing is you will not leave you batt in the camera and leak batt fluid.
M9/M240 are digital camera, cannot work without battery.
There cannot be any adapter for Sony E mount lens to Leica M, cause the flange focal distance. Sony E mount only have 18mm. however leica M mount is 27.8mm. nearly 10mm different.

My dad used to say the Summicron seems to be the best balance between speed and size/weight.
Using Leica might end up with a lot of different ver and speed of the lens, but to be honest, I mostly using Summicron 35mm/50mm (different versions la)

所謂「不壞」，以現在的精度標準，老徠卡是不合格的。更不要說後勤系統幾乎沒有，官方認證的維修點太少，東西出問題就得送原廠維修，代理商不願培養技師，只會代寄代收，去回德國三個月左右，沒有代用機。
要講可靠度和後勤支援 ，徠卡不可能和Canon, NIkon相比。所以什麼叫極致工藝？拿整塊銅錠用CNC車出機身嗎？
徠卡用的就一個字, FU~把徠卡傳奇背熟了，FU自然就有了。樓主已經開始知道月牙虎爪，FU就漸漸出來了，你懂的。
至於照片獨步武林？一樣是傳奇背熟就有了。到這個階段你可以把職業攝影師、它的客戶和看到商品型錄掏錢的消費者都當不識貨的傻瓜，幾十萬的案子用粉味十足的Canon拍，只能說他們通通被謊言蒙蔽。
瘋子的最高階段就是以為全世界都瘋了，除了他自己。
